Hi! I’m so glad you’re here!
I created this blog to empower help you have a healthier, happier life by creating a home where you thrive.
I love to take an item or space and make it feel clean, calm and beautiful. It is so good for our souls to be in a place that feels safe and loved. I want everyone to have a place of their own like that.
I don’t believe in the lie that you can only have a beautiful home when you have more money.

Here’s more of my story on how creating a beautiful home on a student budget healed me from post-partum depression.
I’m a before and after addict. It started when I was young and was always rearranging my bedroom. As a child, I loved creating new beautiful spaces so much that I would move bunk beds and dressers by myself, and if I was lucky, convinced a sibling to help.
I would fall asleep at night, composing my dream home and furnishings. I would ride my bike through the neighborhood and pick out my favorite houses, then sit on the curb nearby and imagine what it would look like inside.
Not much has changed, but instead of my bike, I drive a car. Whenever I see a FOR SALE sign in front, you bet your buns that I’m looking it up on Zillow as soon as I get home.
I’m wifey to a busy Podiatrist, mother to four beautiful girls and live in Washington!
I was a nanny in Austria when I was 20, have a love for all things German/Austrian and graduated with a degree in German with International Business.
I love spending time in nature, traveling to foreign countries, singing while playing the piano, refinishing furniture, sewing, making babies laugh, baking with my girls, listening to podcasts, thrift shopping/finding vintage items and helping others create their own beautiful homes!
My grandma Dorothy was an amazing cook, making food for the ranch hands out of a food wagon in the fields when she was in her young teens. She loved to cook good food for the people she loved and I inherited her passion.
It also brings me great joy to help others feel loved and hunger satisfied by my cooking.
When I discovered the Instant Pot (electric pressure cooker), it changed my life forever!
I was able to cook dinner WHILE painting a dresser in the other room.
Those who know me in real life, know that I am real passionate about things that excite me and that I must share it with everyone.
I started sharing my recipes as I learned how to use my Instant Pot and that became an Instagram page (Jenuine Home) that quickly outgrew just family and friends.
Come learn how to use the Instant Pot with the help of my videos and try out some of the recipes while you’re here! But I also have lots more recipes that are not Instant Pot that you can find here.
