Showroom & custom items are sourced through the trade with your designer. These manufacturers are not open to the public to purchase on your own. Your designer becomes your retail store, so to speak. Purchasing with your designer allows you access to high quality ready ship or custom made furnishings.
You will notice that these showroom/custom prices are often not much different from high end retail and the quality usually surpasses that of regular retail. Something to think about as you plan and make investment purchases for your home, especially for items like desks.
