These are so incredibly good that we couldn’t stop going back and sneaking more small slices when we walked into the kitchen.

In case you’re wondering, yes you can make them into muffins too! Just use a muffin tin that’s greased or with cupcake paper liners and cook at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean when inserted.

Tips

You can make these applesauce bars by hand but I prefer using a stand mixer to make it come together quick and easy.

Using oatmeal makes them moist and just a little bit chewy for a great mouth feel.

Making them in the 9×13 pan is the easiest for me and less hassle to clean afterwards (because you all know by now how much I hate washing dishes).

If you like carrot cake, you’ll definitely love these applesauce bars with spice cream cheese frosting.

PS. There are no raisins to worry about in these bars. Although you could add them if you are feeling adventurous. Nuts would also be a yummy addition! I suggest pecans to pair well with these fall flavors.
